Pavilion Work Day

Good Friday Morning! A wet one for sure.

As most of you can see, the pavilion is nearing completion. A couple of neighborhood volunteers led by Bill Potter have done a fabulous job constructing this for all of us. When complete, it will be a terrific place for gatherings.

What do we have left to do?

• a few pieces of trim still needs to be cut and installed
• The entire structure needs to be prepped for paint and stain
  • Caulking
  • Filling
  • Sanding
• A coat of primer needs to be applied to all surfaces to be painted
• Painting
• Staining the deck
• Some clearing and cleaning of the wooded area directly behind the pavilion (to be done after the pavilion is complete)
• Clean-up

For two people this would take several weekends, but if we could get some help we could have most of it done in a day or two.

So were asking the neighborhood for some help. If you have a caulk gun, a ladder, or a paint brush, and some time, it would be great if you could come by and give us a hand!

We will be there at 9:00am tomorrow morning (Saturday 8-29). Come on down, I will bring some Donuts! (mmmm Donuts!, you know you want one)
